I have always said, “If you cannot find something you love…make it!” Obviously, this is an over simplification of the process. A process that requires a great deal of luck, time and talent, yet it is still a sentiment I believe deeply. In a world that is ever growing, the idea of carving out a little space to craft things that are tremendously personal and share them with the like-minded seems to be shrinking. The trend is to instantly go mass or bust and that has never been the intent over here at R.B. of McD HQ.
In fact the Royal Bank of McD was founded in 2010 on this concept of intimacy and how it should be the driving force behind design, craftsmanship and the overall brand narrative which has been a focal point I have used here as well as at my McMarden house and the bizarre voice used over at DAVEY…that and our powerful Los Angeles backdrop.
As we begin a new year…a new decade, it felt apropos that we refresh, celebrate and give thanks, for many of you have been with us since the very beginning. We appreciate your support over the last ten years, your loyalty to the brand and our overall aesthetic. We are excited to share new silhouettes, share our new color palette for the up coming season and create a stronger dialogue with you all. Here’s to ten more years!
